These birch hybrids (Betula sp.) were first potted as bonsai by Clive Taylor about 1984.  Likely ages of the older trees is thought to have been about 15 years at that time.  Years later, these trees were donated to Hidden Lake Gardens by Clive and the planting was restyled before this appearance in the 7th National Bonsai Exhibition in Rochester, New York, September 11-12, 2021.
