Jack was my teacher.  I couldn’t wait for the one Sunday every month when I would load my SUV with my little trees and head to Jack’s house.  We would unload the trees and start going through each tree where he taught me design, wiring, pruning and care for each and every tree. Some Sunday’s that was a lot of trees.  Jeannine would pop out to the garage and or sunroom where we were working to say hello and see if we would like anything.  Around noon we would clean up, head inside for a lunch prepared by Jeanine.  During lunch the 3 of us would socialize about ourselves.  After lunch back to the trees until every tree was finished. We would load the trees back into my SUV and head back to Detroit feeling a deepened love for bonsai and the Wikle’s.  Those days I will never forget. I thank you Jack and Jeannine for those very special days and our continued friendship over the years.

Thank You
